Once you step into the world of unschooling and free, natural learning, it's impossible to look back at the old ways and feel like you could ever be there again.

Confining your children to a desk or table... letting a checklist of state requirements guide your learning choices... forcing your kids to take standardized tests that tell us absolutely nothing about them as individual learners... I mean, it's just EW!

And while it might be easy to dump all of those old beliefs and materials in the (literal or metaphorical) trash can at home, if you are required to keep records or take tests to meet state homeschooling requirements, it can feel like a never-ending battle between what you know in your gut and heart is right for your child, and what you feel pressured to do to perform and stay safe.

Breathe, mama. There is a way to fully unschool your children - to live in pure joy and freedom - and ensure you are meeting state standards. Join me for this free webinar to learn how.

This webinar is for you if...

  • You believe that unschooling is the way to guide your child's learning, but you're terrified of meeting state requirements.
  • You live in a state where you have to follow rigorous homeschooling laws and feel pressure and stressed every year.
  • You want to opt your children out of standardized tests, but don't know how to do it legally.

LEARNING YOUR WAY IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

You deserve to decide what's best for your children.

HERE'S HOW THIS WEBINAR WILL HELP

The harm of seeking learning proof

Believe it or not, one of the most harmful things we can do to our child's motivation to learn is to ask them to prove that they are learning. We'll talk about why.

Understanding unschooling

Unschooling doesn't mean "doing whatever you want all day." We'll talk about what unschooling really is and why you can identify with it even if you use textbooks.

DIYing "legal" unschooling

I'll share with you the three ways you can DIY this legal unschooling route, no matter what state you live in, all of which are used by families around the country.

Bringing joy back to learning

Most importantly, we'll talk about bringing JOY back into the homeschooling experience - for your children AND for you. You deserve to enjoy the learning experience with them.

Not sure you can do this? I've got a story for you...

I remember when I first realized I would have to subject my fully unschooled child to his first standardized test.

Charlie was 8 years old and coming up on what would (by the calendar) be the end of his 3rd grade school year.

At the time, we were living in a state that had relatively low regulations for homeschoolers. We didn't have to keep a portfolio or document our lesson plans or anything, but the one piece we still had to submit was standardized testing at certain years throughout the K-12 education journey.

The letter came in the mail and the anxiety hit right away... All the work that I'd done to allow him to learn at his own pace, about the things that truly interested him, never worrying about the checklists and standards suddenly seemed for nothing if he had to sit with a stranger and take a test that would tell me absolutely nothing about him (but would certainly make him feel like a failure).

I couldn't do it. I knew there had to be a way to still legally homeschool my children without subjecting them to the soul-crushing experience of standardized testing. And if there wasn't a way, I would make one.

That motivation to find a better, freer way for my own children has allowed me to offer the same experience for other homeschooling families just like yours.

It's been years in the making, but now, we can fully and confidently learn as unschoolers no matter where we live. We actually moved to an even "stricter" state last year and don't worry at all about keeping records or taking standardized tests!
