3-Day Challenge Schedule
During this quick and informative 3-day challenge, we'll take a look at the practice of writing in ways you've never seen before. Our schedule looks like:
Day 1 Stages of Writing Development
Day 2 What Writing REALLY Is
Day 3 Encouraging Writing Practice (In Ways Your Child Won't Hate)
But that's the smallest part of what writing ACTUALLY is....
Writing is about expressing ourselves. It's how we share our stories, how we express an opinion, how we argue for something better, how we connect with others, and how we ask for help.
One's writing voice is as unique to the individual as their signature. The goal of writing shouldn't be to fit into a box and sound like everyone else, but to discover that unique sense of voice through words on paper (or screen).
Writing is our window into other worlds. It's fantasy and sci-fi, it's poetry and lyrics, it's music and cinema, it's lines and dots. Writing is one of the truest forms of art. And art can rarely be taught; it is felt.
Writing CAN be fun and passionate.
Your child CAN learn to write with amazing skill in ways that don't involve worksheets, copywork, and boring curriculum.
You CAN feel confident that your child is growing in their abilities, that you know exactly what stage they're working through, and precisely how to support them.
